Position: Production Lead
Location: Orlando
Department: Production
Reports To: Production Supervisor
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Inspire: Supervise and motivate your team to achieve production goals while maintaining a positive and energetic work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety requirements.
- Efficiency Expert: Review production schedules, manage raw materials, and ensure equipment is operating smoothly throughout the shift.
- Safety First: Promote a safe work environment by following and enforcing safety procedures and addressing any hazards promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Initiate and follow up on improvement opportunities, and provide ongoing training and development for your team.
- Communication: Keep the team informed about performance metrics, goals, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Leadership experience in a bakery or related food industry required.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, basic mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of baking processes.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable with walking, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
